Cancellation & Transfer Policy
Please Read Carefully
At Seek to Savor, we invest significant time and resources planning each journey well in advance. Hotels, guides, transportation providers, restaurants, wineries, and local experiences are reserved months before departure to ensure an exceptional travel experience.
For this reason, all reservations are subject to the following cancellation and transfer policies.
How to Cancel Your Reservation
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to:
Your cancellation will become effective on the date your written request is received no later than 90 days.
Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable.
Your deposit secures your place on the journey and allows us to begin making arrangements on your behalf. Because of these commitments, deposits cannot be refunded or transferred except as outlined below.
Cancellation Prior to Final Payment
If you cancel before the final payment due date:
Your deposit remains non-refundable.
Any payments made beyond your deposit will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation, less any non-recoverable supplier fees incurred on your behalf.
Cancellation After Final Payment
Once final payment has been made, all payments are non-refundable.
This includes your deposit, installment payments, and final balance payments.
Many of our travel partners require advance payment and impose strict cancellation penalties, making it impossible for us to recover these costs after final payment deadlines have passed.
Missed Final Payment
Failure to make your final payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation by the traveler.
All amounts previously paid remain subject to the cancellation terms outlined above.
Transfer to Another Journey
If your plans change, we will make every reasonable effort to help you transfer to another Seek to Savor journey.
Transfer requests must be submitted in writing and approved by Seek to Savor.
To be eligible:
The request must be made at least 120 days before departure.
The new journey must have available space.
Travel credits must be used within 18 months of the original departure date.
If approved:
Payments made toward your original journey may be applied to a future Seek to Savor journey.
A $250 administrative transfer fee may apply.
Any supplier penalties or non-recoverable costs will be deducted from the available credit.
Each reservation is eligible for one approved transfer.
Travel credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
Shared Accommodations
All journeys are shared accommodations. Unless a private accommodation travel is purchased.
If you register with a fellow traveler and that traveler later cancels, we will make reasonable efforts to help place you with a shared accommodation. However, we cannot guarantee that a replacement will be available.
If no replacement traveler is found, you may be required to:
Upgrade to a single occupancy room, if available, and pay the applicable supplement; or
Accept alternative accommodations if available.
If neither option is available, Seek to Savor will work with you to determine the most appropriate solution based on the circumstances and availability.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
Unexpected events such as illness, injury, family emergencies, weather disruptions, airline cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances can occur before or during travel.
Travel insurance may help protect your investment and cover expenses that Seek to Savor cannot reimburse under this policy.
For maximum flexibility, we recommend considering a policy that includes Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage when available.
Travelers are responsible for reviewing their policy details, understanding coverage limitations, and filing any necessary claims.
No Exceptions
Because our suppliers require firm commitments and impose strict cancellation penalties, we are unable to make exceptions to these cancellation terms for personal circumstances, medical issues, schedule conflicts, weather events, airline disruptions, or other unforeseen situations.
For this reason, travel insurance is strongly encouraged and serves as the primary protection for your travel investment.
