Terms & Conditions of Travel
Please Read Carefully
These Terms & Conditions govern all travel experiences, tours, retreats, culinary journeys, wine experiences, and group travel programs offered by Seek to Savor ("Seek to Savor," "we," "us," or "our").
By submitting a reservation, making a payment, or participating in a Seek to Savor journey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Travel involves inherent risks and uncertainties. These Terms include important information regarding traveler responsibilities, cancellation policies, assumption of risk, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution procedures. We encourage you to review them carefully before making your reservation.
1. Reservations & Payments
A reservation is confirmed only when the required deposit has been received and all required registration documents have been completed.
All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
The remaining balance is due by the final payment date indicated for your specific journey. Failure to make final payment by the stated deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of amounts previously paid.
Seek to Savor reserves the right to cancel any reservation for non-payment.
2. Pricing
Journey pricing is based upon supplier costs, exchange rates, taxes, and operational expenses at the time of publication.
While rare, pricing may be adjusted prior to final payment due to significant changes in exchange rates, government taxes, fuel surcharges, supplier increases, or other factors beyond our control.
Travelers will be notified of any such changes prior to final payment.
Unless specifically stated, pricing does not include:
• Airfare
• Travel insurance
• Passport or visa fees
• Personal expenses
• Optional activities
• Gratuities
• Meals and beverages not specifically listed as included
• Airport baggage fees
• Items of a personal nature
3. Travel Documents
Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required travel documentation.
For international journeys, this includes:
• A valid passport
• Required visas
• Entry permits
• Health documentation
• Vaccination requirements, if applicable
Many countries require passports to remain valid for at least six months beyond the date of return. It is the traveler's responsibility to verify destination requirements.
Seek to Savor is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, missed travel arrangements, or additional expenses resulting from incomplete, expired, or incorrect travel documentation.
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every journey.
Travel insurance may provide protection for:
• Trip cancellation
• Trip interruption
• Medical emergencies
• Emergency evacuation
• Travel delays
• Lost or delayed baggage
Travelers are encouraged to review policy coverage carefully and consider Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage when available.
Seek to Savor is not responsible for losses that may otherwise have been covered by travel insurance.
5. Itinerary Changes
Travel is dynamic, and circumstances occasionally require adjustments.
Seek to Savor reserves the right to modify accommodations, transportation, activities, guides, meal locations, or portions of the itinerary when reasonably necessary due to weather, local conditions, supplier availability, safety considerations, governmental requirements, or circumstances beyond our control.
Whenever possible, comparable substitutions will be provided.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
6. Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner throughout the journey.
We reserve the right to remove any traveler whose behavior:
• Endangers themselves or others
• Disrupts the experience of the group
• Violates local laws
• Harasses fellow travelers, guides, or hosts
• Fails to comply with reasonable instructions from journey hosts or local partners
Any traveler removed from a journey for behavioral reasons shall be responsible for all resulting expenses and will not be entitled to a refund.
7. Health & Fitness
Travelers are responsible for determining whether a journey is appropriate for their personal health, mobility, and fitness level.
Some experiences may involve:
• Walking on uneven surfaces
• Stairs
• Extended periods of standing
• Rural or historic locations
• Variable weather conditions
Travelers should carefully review journey descriptions and notify Seek to Savor of any medical conditions or mobility concerns before booking.
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs when possible, we cannot guarantee that all destinations, accommodations, or activities can accommodate every circumstance. All participants must be physically able to get around with out help. For the comfort and safety of all travelers, participants must be able to walk independently, navigate stairs and uneven surfaces, and participate in all scheduled activities without personal assistance.
8. Assumption of Risk
Travel involves risks beyond the control of Seek to Savor.
These risks may include, but are not limited to:
• Illness or injury
• Transportation delays
• Weather events
• Political or social unrest
• Supplier failures
• Changes in governmental regulations
• Natural disasters
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
By participating in a Seek to Savor journey, travelers voluntarily assume these risks and accept responsibility for their own travel decisions.
9. Independent Suppliers
Seek to Savor works with carefully selected hotels, transportation companies, guides, wineries, restaurants, activity providers, and other travel suppliers.
These suppliers operate independently and are not owned, managed, or controlled by Seek to Savor.
Accordingly, Seek to Savor is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, or financial condition of independent suppliers.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seek to Savor's total liability arising from any claim relating to a journey shall not exceed the amount paid directly to Seek to Savor for that specific journey.
Seek to Savor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of enjoyment, lost income, or additional travel expenses.
11. Photography & Marketing
During our journeys, photographs and video may occasionally be captured for promotional, marketing, editorial, or social media purposes.
By participating, you grant Seek to Savor permission to use photographs or video in which you may appear unless you notify us in writing before the journey begins.
We will always strive to respect the privacy and comfort of our travelers.
12. Force Majeure
Seek to Savor shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, itinerary changes, or losses resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.
These may include, but are not limited to:
• Natural disasters
• Severe weather
• Government actions
• Border closures
• Strikes
• Political instability
• Epidemics or pandemics
• Supplier failures
• Transportation disruptions
In such circumstances, Seek to Savor reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel a journey as necessary.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the State of Florida.
14. Acceptance
By submitting a deposit or payment toward any Seek to Savor journey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
